Passenger Jet goes off the cliff
A passenger jet went off the cliff yesterday after problems during the landing. The plane skidded off the runway and went off the cliff, almost plunging into the sea. The incident took place in Turkey at Trabzon Airport.
A Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800 flight had just come from Turkish capital Ankara. Surprisingly, according to reports, there were no casualties nor injuries. There were 162 passengers and six crew members on the plane.
The flights at the airport were suspended after the accident for several hours.
No reason for the accident has yet been given, and the the prosecutor's office has launched an investigation to find out why the plane had left the runway.
